Office Assistant - Part-Time

Job Responsibilities

  • Word processing, data entry, and filing
  • Working with printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines
  • Typing and editing letters, memos, reports, and other documents
  • Answering and routing phones in a professional manner
  • Answering and routing emails in a professional manner
  • Processing outgoing mail, UPS, and FedEx shipments
  • Processing product orders
  • Keeping office supplies stocked
  • Keeping the office tidy and clean
  • Assisting with travel arrangements
  • Providing administrative aid on any project for other employees
  • Task management and organization
  • Providing additional project support

Qualities Desired

  • Office/administrative assistant experience, 1-3 years minimum
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have strong computer skills at an intermediate to advanced level
  • Proficient with Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2007, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Able to type at least 50 wpm
  • Able to work independently as well as with a dynamic group
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Able to organize and prioritize
  • Detail oriented
