Wheelchair Seating and Mobility
We
have a full range testing facility for the testing of
powered and manual wheelchairs as well as powered scooters.
We
conduct testing to meet the reporting requirements for CMS /
SADMERC testing of Powered Wheelchairs
and
for FDA 510k disclosures. We can also conduct specific
testing for any other legal or product liability related
issues.
The
RESNA Wheelchair Standards Committee operates under the
RESNA Technical Standards Board which is accredited by the
American National Standards Institute - ANSI, a member body
to the International Standards Organization - ISO.
Beneficial Designs manages the secretariat position of the
RESNA Technical Standards Board.
Peter Axelson is chairman of the RESNA Wheelchair Standards
Committee.
