In 2014, Beneficial Designs contracted with the town of Gardnerville, Nevada to assess sidewalks for compliance with ADA standards. Gardnerville is the first jurisdiction where Beneficial Designs custom PROWAP software was used to check for compliance with PROWAG (Public Rights-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines). In all, almost 20 miles of sidewalk and over 1,500 features, such as curb ramps, transition heights, and protruding objects, were evaluated for compliance.
