assessing the Tahoe Rim Trail

The Tahoe Rim Trail is a 165+ mile trail, encircling Lake Tahoe, providing astounding views of both the lake and the Sierra Nevada. Connecting to the Pacific Crest Trail, the Tahoe Rim Trail is designated as a National Recreation Trail and is part of the National Trail System. Our assessment work has covered multiple sections of the trail, providing data displayed in both trail maps and Trail Access Information (TAI) signposts posted along points of the trail.
